We talk alternatively about Yoni Eggs or Jade Eggs, because Nephrite Jade is THE main gemstone used in the taoist tradition.
The Jade Egg has the properties of being a very cleansing and releasing stone, and it also has its own powerful energetic properties. It is considered sacred gemstone with a Yang essence, so this strong masculine energy interacts in the Yin feminine environment of the vagina in a very healing and powerful way (because there is a polarity charge between the Yin and Yang).
Gemologists only recommend jade or obsidian because of their properties that make them safe for internal use. Jade is uniquely hard, there are studies done on its unique crystalline structure that makes it very resistant to cracking or breaking and it’s been used for thousands of years internally.
When you chose a yoni egg, It’s important to really investigate because it’s not only the properties of the stones, but the way they are manufactured that affects their safety – meaning that if a manufacturer dyes or bleaches the stone, then it becomes unsafe, so you have to trust the source of the stone. This is why I’m jade all the way!
